Scriptwriters write scripts for performances. You may create scripts for theatre, film, TV, adverts, etc. Scriptwriting requires expertise in storytelling and script structure. You also need to have an in-depth knowledge of the medium your script will be performed on. Film scripts and theatre scripts, for example, are different in style and structure.
