A QA automation engineer develops automated tests that are used to test the functionality of applications. They are tasked with designing the tests, creating the code for them, activating the tests, and reporting on how they perform.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have very strong programming skills, as well as a wealth of experience as a QA automation engineer. Recruiters will be expecting at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
