As the name suggests, a Power BI data analyst uses Microsoft’s Power BI, to collect and synthesize data to gain information and assist in decision-making in a company. This position requires a Power BI expert, and experience with similar software would be a plus to recruiters as well.
As with any other analyst, a recruiter would like to see a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or a similar field. But keep in mind that your experience using Power BI is what recruiters will be looking at most. So if you have any Power BI certification, make sure to highlight that.
