Your tasks may include creating marketing campaigns and optimizing their reach using SEO, handling and optimizing a company’s social media platforms, monitoring and analyzing sales patterns and website traffic, and managing online inventory, among others.
Recruiters will want to see that you have at least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, I.T., or a related field. Further qualifications in eCommerce or eCommerce=related topics are highly encouraged if you are looking to advance up the eCommerce ladder. Beyond your educational background, recruiters will want to see your analytical skills, technical skill set, and your successes thus far, so be sure to highlight these in your resume.
