As an eCommerce director, you will be responsible for the entire eCommerce department or company - if the company solely operates online. Your tasks will be a blend of operations-related tasks and marketing-related tasks. You will be in charge of developing your company’s eCommerce strategy and ensuring it is effectively implemented. This requires expert knowledge in eCommerce as well as strong managerial skills.
As with any other eCommerce professional, recruiters will expect to at least see a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, I.T., or a similar field. Any further relevant qualifications will be a huge plus. This applicant has a Masters in a related field.
