A DevOps engineer is an IT specialist that speeds up the software development process by improving the communication between the development and operations teams. A cloud DevOps engineer has the same role on the cloud infrastructure. They can work in the entire lifecycle of developing a cloud platform or provide support to existing ones.
They must be familiar with practices such as debugging, cloud testing, delivering pipelines, monitoring teams, data management, etc. Their purpose is to provide more reliability to the cloud by enhancing development operations.
